Ecological Biodiversity encompasses ecosystems, natural environments, and habitats. In other words, it encompasses the variety of ways that species relate in their natural environment. While our green treed quarries in Massachusetts differ greatly from our sparse desert quarries in Las Vegas, the types of species found in these ecosystems are almost identical. While the temperature and rainfall may vary greatly in these two areas, our commitment to leave these areas as beautiful as we found them is identical and remains paramount to the success of our company.

How we help

We play a part in protecting the biodiversity of our local communities by working with local wildlife experts and Audubon groups to protect these areas once we complete the quarry restoration process. One of the greatest threats to biodiversity is habitat loss and Aggregate Industries is committed to returning these open areas back to nature as good stewards of the planet.
