Aggregate Industries is proud to bring you innovative, industry-leading recycling programs. The preservation of our surrounding environment is a company priority, as evidenced by our asphalt and concrete recycling services. Recycling is a smart and environmentally conscious choice that preserves resources and eliminates the critical environmental issue of proper disposal of concrete and asphalt.

We are the Commonwealth's largest recycler, and each year we recycle over 1,200,000 tons of asphalt, concrete and soil. To download a copy of our new Recycled Product brochure(pdf), click here.

Using Aggregate Industires recycled products can contribute valuable LEED certification credits for Recycled Content (MR 4.1 & 4.2) and Local / Regional Materials (MR 5.1 & MR 5.2)

Asphalt Recycling
We recycle over 750,000 tons of used, broken asphalt each year. These materials, which use to be sent to landfills, are recycled into new hot mix asphalt, thereby conserving non-renewable natural resources such as bitumen and aggregate materials.

Recycled asphalt product (RAP) is a processed raw material used in the production of bituminous concrete. Using RAP in bituminous concrete production allows us to conserve other non-renewable natural resources while still producing a high quality bituminous concrete that meets strict specifications.

T-Base Logo is an alternative asphalt base course product consisting of 100% recycled materials. Produced at a 1” minus gradation, it insures improved workability and performance as well as being a low cost, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional paving materials.

Concrete Recycling
Aggregate Industries accepts and recycles over 200,000 tons of concrete each year. These materials are processed into a recycled concrete base product, known as CONPAC.

Conpac LogoThis product serves as a cost-effective alternative for structural fill, concrete sidewalk sub-base and can also be used in many other applications. We also have the ability to produce custom manufactured fills by combining CONPAC with other aggregate products. CONPAC is only available at selected Aggregate Industries locations.
