Aggregate Industries Northeast Region showcases sustainable products

Aggregate Industries Northeast Region proudly exhibited their range of sustainable construction materials at the Green Round Table’s NEXUS Green Building Resource Center Showcase in Boston. The event attracted over 250 members of the green building community including architects, engineers, builders, community development professionals and governmental policy makers from across the Boston-Metro area whose focus is on environmentally sensitive construction. 

The Green Round Table is the Boston-area affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), of which Aggregate Industries US is a member.  The showcase featured a wide range of green building product manufacturers, and provided an opportunity for Aggregate Industries to promote:

All of these products help builders and developers incorporate sustainability into their projects and also gain valuable LEED points towards their project’s USGBC LEED Certification.

In addition to featuring Aggregate Industries’ sustainable construction products, information on the Holcim Awards for Sustainable Development was distributed and garnered a significant amount of interest.  The Holcim Awards seek to promote and reward projects that incorporate sustainable development in their design, and award over $2 million in prize money across the globe.  More information about the Holcim Awards is available online at www.holcimawards.org
