web site now has content devoted specifically to Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR), which covers important business issues of Community, Climate and Sustainability.
In addition, we have earned the prestigious ISO
14001 Certification at virtually all of our operating sites, ensuring
that all site managers have extensive training on our Environmental
Management System.
Aggregate Industries has adopted a company-wide
Environmental Policy (pdf) and we remain committed to environmental stewardship
across our regional businesses.
We are also members of the U.S. Green
Building Council, and are actively developing innovative new
products such as Pervious Concrete and Porous Asphalt to aid developers
on LEED certified projects.
Many environmental initiatives result in our regional
businesses receiving prestigious environmental awards from various
industry associations and state agencies.
